In the late 1800s, Napa Valley, fueled by the gold rush and a wave of wealthy immigrants, was exploding as the world’s next great wine region. A series of tragic events left many of the valley’s grandest estates abandoned and these old mansions are now often called “Ghost Wineries”.  Stories of ghosts in the region have circulated here for over a hundred years, but none have the chilling tales of the old wineries on Spring Mountain where family tragedy, prohibition, and financial collapse have laid a web of paranormal tales and mysterious occurrences.  

After gaining unprecedented access to the ghost wineries of Spring Mountain, acclaimed Sommelier Claire Coppi sets out to find an original, antique Ouija Board and use it to unravel a mystery of just who or what could still be inhabiting these old structures.  She enlists skeptical wine writer Shakera Jones and winemaker Megan Zobeck to take this rare spirit board into two of the area’s most haunted properties.  

Over the course of a weekend the women uncover multiple dark tales that took place at the wineries, including a little boy who was accidentally shot by his father, a woman so badly burned in a fire she hid the rest of her life behind two veils, and a scorned wife left with millions in debt when her philandering husband died. 

As they fully immerse themselves in the history of the region, a slew of unexpected happenings begin to transpire. Before the first Ouija session, Claire enlists a technical team to wire the structures with microphones and infrared cameras. The unexplained sights and sounds that they capture challenge their beliefs in the paranormal and uncover a wild and terrifying twist that sheds light on something much more sinister that may be haunting the winery grounds.
